The Valor system has been devised primarily as a safety device with the added benefits of being able to monitor your tyre pressure every time your 4x4 is being used, thereby avoiding under inflation and the associated tyre wear, higher fuel consumption and the hassle of having to check your tyre pressure at every filling station.

Each tyre is fitted with a sensor unit that monitors the real-time tyre pressure and temperature in each wheel. When driving the sensor sends a signal to the dashboard display every four seconds. In the event of sudden air loss, the alarm will sound and the display on the dashboard will indicate which tyre has a problem. This should give the driver sufficient time to stop before the tyre is damaged.

The sensors also warn the driver about other aspects like high pressure, high temperature, low pressure and slow air leaks – an added bonus for all 4x4 users, especially those travelling far with big boat rigs.

The system can also be switched from offroad use to normal use mode to suit the terrain you’re travelling on.

The unit is very user-friendly and works 24 hours a day, constantly monitoring all four or six wheels.
